A sitting President WILL attempt to try to reassure the country he or she is the "leader" of, despite walking around with egg on their face when those don't work out as planned.

At the same time, making it known to the criminals and terrorists who are destroying cities....businesses, vehicles, looting....that America will do whatever it can with its power to not tolerate it.
