This is exactly the kind of thing Trump hates. Lies and deceptive tampering with the tape of the incident and a judge ruling he cannot get away with such arbitrary action. Trump STILL thinks he should be king and hates when he finds he isn't.

Good. What the White House is arguing sets a bad precedent. Acosta may be personally rude or annoying, but banning him for that makes it easier to ban the next person for asking tough questions in a way they don’t like. And frankly, unrelated to the lawsuit, anyone in the Trump administration clutching their pearls about politeness, respect and decency is hilariously hypocritical.

Looking forward to hearing Trump criticize the judge not realizing he actually nominated him.

First amendment rights are not contingent on being polite, or being liked by the POTUS.

Maybe they’ll move his seat to the back and not give him the mic. Give it to another CNN reporter that’s not seated next to him.

I wonder if he will still be smiling when he never gets handed the microphone to grandstand some more. A judge might be able to require they let him in the building, but no judge can require the administration ever take a single question from him and they can't prevent the administration from physically removing him from the room when he makes a scene about never being given the microphone.

He has plenty of opportunities to ask questions without requiring a microphone or seating. Trump doesn’t have press conferences very often - most are pool sprays where questions can just be called out.
