Is she much younger than him?
Does she have a bunch of kids he has to support now?
Is she living off of him and not working?
Have they only been dating a month?

My mom can never be happy about anything for anyone. My brother and sister in law had gastric bypass, lost a ton of weight, and have added years to their lives. My mom always follows it up with, "Yeah, they look great but I wish they could have done it without the surgery."

OMG that sounds like my Dad. He is a narcissist. I lost a lot of weight because I basically got so depressed over my infertility and miscarriage losses I stopped eating. He told me to my face in front of other people "Well whatever works."
