The haunting in hill house? If so could you let me know it's content? My 8 and 7 year old sons want to watch it for Halloween but I don't have time before then to watch the whole thing before letting them. They can handle scary things, they have watched lots of horror movies, but I'm talking about hardcore S*x, graphic child abuse, etc. things that are completely inappropriate for kids.
Thanks in advance.

A child dies in a fairly graphic way. There are suicides. Animals die as well.

There is a website called Does The Dog Die? that will give you a list of any possible triggers found in movies, shows, books and video games.

It's a Netflix series.

From the web - spoiler...

"Spoiler, obviously...

One of the little girls Theo is helping has been raped by her foster father. She feels" it firsthand through her talent and it can be quite disturbing."

based on that alone I wouldn't want my 7/8 yr old watching that.

I watched it with my 14 year old and the 12 and 8 year old would watch an episode here and there. I’m fairly lax so I didn’t really notice anything to far out there.

That makes the scene sound horrible, but in reality it wasn’t bad. I actually couldn’t figure out was going on. She just sat on a couch and started crying and then saw something on the ceiling, which again took me a minute to figure out. Trying not to give to much away.
