One of the Columbia University students who bravely tried to stop a mob of anti-Israel protesters from taking over an academic building last night tells Fox News Digital they tried to delay the agitators long enough so that police or security could arrive on the scene to back them up – but ultimately neither of them showed.

Rory Wilson, a 22-year-old history senior, says he is furious that the takeover occurred under the university police's watch and that the NYPD never arrived despite students saying they called 911.

Wilson had been asleep in his dorm after midnight when his friends woke him up to say that protesters were targeting a takeover of Hamilton Hall, an academic building used by the dean and other senior offices.

I've watched the video footage of these two trying so hard but bless their hearts, they were clearly outnumbered by the other's. 😠😑

It’s so sad…

I saw photos of a protest in 1969 there and beside it photos of now…

In the 60’s they looked strong and defiant trying to make a difference , today they look like masked assholes just trying to destroy the place …

270 years of history and academic excellence and they manage to turn it into a pile of crap in just under 7 months…
Guess the Qatar money was worth it! 🤷🏼‍♀️

Nothing really here to see except using the same old complaint again. Purely manipulation of facts. Just like with the claims about Soros.

Follow the money. Who pays for all those teachers radicalizing students at elite universities? Who sponsor pro Hamas groups like SJP and JVP?

That’s woke entitlement for you. The result of a whole generation of children who never heard “no” for an answer. That’s the adults we produced by having participation trophies and no tryouts or score keeping in sports. Entitled brats whose idea of suffering is not having wi-fi and having the barista make their mocha latte with regular milk instead of soy milk. Nothing that a good tantrum cannot fix.
They’re criminals. Criminals shouldn’t get to make demands. And if you were going to hijack a university building and planned to stay there, at least pack a banana and a water bottle. No one owes you, little anarchist, anything. Look after yourself.
Although Hamas would be proud. These kids learned well how to be terrorists and make demands!!

Also, seriously, why are they giving these useless attention whores a platform for more attention? It’s like handing a tequila shot to an alcoholic. These are “look at me! Look at me!” kids and they throw them a press conference over some stupidity that isn’t even happening? How stupid are these reporters? 🙄
