What’s something that is completely true about you, but people would think you’re trolling if you said it?

wow - we have an almost celebrity! I would imagine that both your and your offspring are better off without reality TV in your past.

Haha. Oh yeah, much better off. Though I highly doubt I would have reached “celebrity” status like Farrah, Maci, or Catelynn. My story would have been boring — just me finishing school and going to college. No dramaMonarchMom wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2024 10:36 amwow - we have an almost celebrity! Not boring at all. Your story is inspiring and I applaud you.SoFloMom wrote: ↑Sun Mar 17, 2024 11:44 amHaha. Oh yeah, much better off. I'm thinking these are not big deals that I'd be accused of trolling with but....
*My family and I tried out to be on Family Feud back in the late 70's. We didn't make the cut.
*My parent's met and hung out with Buck Owens, a late country music star who had owned KNIX at the time. It's a country music radio station out here.
* My husband's late biological dad was a famous steel guitarist and stunt double in Hollywood.

Unfortunately that story doesn’t make for good tv. They’d rather see the teen mom turned porn star, teen mom that keeps having babies or getting them taken away, or arrested for domestic violence or drugs.
That show is a whole mess lol

It’s probably for the best, it seems that the show did more harm than good for those families. I think the financial support from the show kept a lot of the women from having to mature in that area and encouraged them to fall into destructive behaviors. Plus with the publicity, those kids will never get a normal childhood and they had no say in it. Imagine having every flaw in your family broadcasted for the country to see.

I gave birth to my first child who was estimated to be about 26 weeks gestation, alone in an emergency room triage, having no idea I was pregnant.
