Well, it says that “They were terminated for knowingly violating our zero-tolerance policy related to physically engaging with the perpetrators which put their lives and the safety of our guests and other employees at risk”. And I can sort of see their point if this is true. If as a result of them physically engaging with the robbers they or a customer gets hurt, they become liable and it can open up a lawsuit. Not to mention the bad publicity. If someone is hurt or killed as a result of the actions of an employee, that’s bad.
But they claim they’ve been told they’re not supposed to call the police and keep it quiet, so who knows who’s stretching the truth here.
