Old school rap that is appropriate for school?

My DH is the school resource officer at the high school. He stands out every morning and greets/fist bumps the kids coming in. He mentioned he wants to get a boom box to have out there with some music. So I'm getting him one for Valentine's Day. I figured most kids like rap but todays rap will NOT be appropriate at school. So far I have Run DMC and Beastie Boys in my cart. I think these should be ok? Anyone have any ideas that I am not thinking of?
