That close to adulthood, as long as it’s legal and does not have obscenities, what they wear is their choice.

My daughter is 18.. if she told me her plan was to meet her boyfriend’s family in a thong I would strongly encourage her to rethink that. She is old enough to make her own decision, but I’m older and have the wisdom to know save the thong for a different crowd.

Same with boys-when she brings a boy to the house they need to be appropriately dressed..
