I'm against the death penalty across the board but I understand that I am in the minority in the US.

I'm against death penalty in the case of child rape because of the following reporting:
- More trauma to victim
- Incentive for perpetrator to kill victim
- Lower conviction/incarceration rate

Media is currently reporting that Donald Trump was the "bigliest" death penalty president. I think that DeSantis is just using death penalty of child rapists as a political talking point rather than really being concerned in any way, shape, or form about child abuse and child rape. What has he said about Matt Gaetz?
