I agree. It seems to me a drunken fight that got out of control and although it wouldn’t be murder, it could be manslaughter. And watching that video, it doesn’t seem like she was that much into fight. She was getting beaten up, plain and simple.
So I think those kids, not being the brightest candles in the menorah, are trying to cover it up.

I am not sure…..it may have been published before the video was released. There has been a lot of twists and turns on this story.
Apparently.... the article didn't even mention a lack of alcohol in the system or that there's a video, just that the autopsy showed severe spinal trauma/broken neck as cause of death. I may have to rethink the "accidental" part of this because the article provided was severely lacking in giving any additional details other than "friends said alcohol poisoning but coroner said it was broken neck" and I could see how it could be both with alcohol involved and a neck injury that doesn't get checked out leading to it appearing to be a seizure from alcohol poisoning before death later
Again, the story is progressing quickly so I’m not sure why the article didn’t list it. I was just giving you more information in the back end story.

To be fair, fist fights don’t normally result in death so murder may not have been intentional. That’s still a valid point.

I think the group’s behavior/reaction after the fact is what raised eye brows.

It’s so many rumors flying around, I think it’s gonna be a minute before we know what happened. So this is 100% speculation on my part.

If they jumped her, I think that’s a bit more serious than manslaughter. I understand how the law works but people need to realize thar behavior is not only cowardly, it can very easily escalate to deadly force and it should be treated as such IMHO.

Multiple enraged people jumping on a 126 pound girl who isn’t fighting back, isn’t much different than a gun or knife as far as I’m concerned.

I am interested to see how this turns out and learning more about what really happened.
