Childhood home was 16 years. My parents had it built new construction when I was a baby.
Adult home has been 7 years and we’re still here, in a condo.

I've lived in my house for 56 years

We lived in our last house for five years. That is the longest I've ever lived in one place since my mom sold our childhood home when I was 16.

We moved quite a bit as a kid. The longest I remember being in one home was 4 years, but my parents and brother lived in that place closer to 10 years. Large, old house that had been transformed into 3 smaller units. 1 upstairs unit (that's where we were) and 2 smaller units downstairs.

DH bought the house we are in now 20 years ago. I moved in with him a few months after and we have no plans on going anywhere at this point. Originally we figured we would move as the kids got older so we had more room, but that never happened and now we are less than a year away from DS moving out so we will be back to having more than enough room.
