'Please call the police': Grubhub note sent to New York café leads to the rescue of woman who was kidnapped and raped in

Kemoy Royal, 32, of Pratt Avenue in the Bronx was accused of sexual attacks on two different women
He allegedly met the women via a dating app and lured them to his home
A 24-year-old victim sent a cry for help at 5 a.m. in the delivery instructions section of the GrubHub delivery app
Workers at The Chipper Truck Café consulted the owner and then called the police
Cops arrested Royal and charged him with 27 counts of kidnapping and sexual assault
After his arrest, a second 26-year-old victim was discovered from an alleged attack by Royal the week before

That’s an incredible story. I’m glad the women were rescued.
But I do have to wonder as to how she did that? Was the kidnapper that moronic to leave her access to her phone? It’s like America’s Dumbest Criminals. Regardless, she was smart!

Apparently, he let her place a delivery order.

"The call for help came in the form of an online Grubhub food order to the Chipper Truck Café in Yonkers Sunday morning. Surveillance video from inside the restaurant shows the employees receive the order for a Irish breakfast sandwich, a hamburger and something else: a plea for help."

"The workers called police, and officers responded to a home on Pratt Avenue just after 6 a.m. Royal answered the door thinking the food was arriving, but instead it was police, who arrested him."
