Governor DeSantis went on a rant in May ridiculing the media when they reported that Florida will be the next New York if they don't shut down.

In May DeSantis said:
"And so we've succeeded and I think that people just don't want to recognize it because it challenges their narrative, it challenges their assumption, so they've got to try and find a boogeyman – maybe it's that black helicopter circling the Department of Health. If you believe that, then I have a bridge in Brooklyn I'd like to sell ya," DeSantis said.
July 13, 2020:
Florida Sets Single-Day U.S. Record With Over 15,000 New Cases
Also eight states set single-day death records over the last week: Alabama, Arizona, Florida, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Dakota, Texas and Tennessee.

This is what happens when politicians think they know more than scientists and the medical profession.

I really want to wake up from this nightmare. I knew Americans were stubborn, but at some point, shouldn't you be thinking 'we should listen to people smarter than ourselves if we want out of this'?

I'd love to leave but we've turned this country into such a shithole that no one will take us.

I fully support evacuating all of the people capable of rational thought from the red states and letting the rest of them freedom themselves to death πŸ™ƒ

That reminds me, not one news outlet has reported on how many of the thousands and thousands of homeless people in SF and LA and other big cities have COVID and especially how many of those have died.

Then we have the press covering up the number of cases among the protesters in the major cities.

You know those sweet, innocent protesters have absolutely NOTHING to do with this! That's why they're not allowed to even ask that question in screening. Those thousands of people on top of each other, spitting, screaming and not showering didn't do a thing!

They've actually provided a service and are helping stamp out the virus according to scientists. Haven't you heard? But don't go protest the lockdowns. That would be BAD! The virus is very smart - it can tell the difference between who's protesting what. The virus actually supports the BLM movement.

These imbeciles wonder why we don't trust any information we get from "the doctors" and why people just won't listen and obey whatever drivel the government "experts" blather out.

How effing twisted is that? Because of the riots, the people who stayed home are the ones who spread the virus.,,,not the rioters.

CA and FL have very similar total numbers of new cases but CA has nearly twice the population of FL so per capita they are doing way better
