She did apologize and she also told the women that she cared about them. That’s when the woman jumped behind the vehicle to prevent them from backing out and it sounded to me that she also hit their vehicle. So apparently when you apologize it escalates things.
People are nuts. It’s getting worse. For my safety I think I’ll keep to myself and not interact with strangers and hope I don’t accidentally bump someone. Because apparently bumping people is racist now.
She never apologized in the video. She says "I care about you" in between saying the ignorant statements that racism doesn't exist. No where in the video does it show her "jump behind the truck." You are making up what you want to see. None of that, even what you said was true, is a reason to point a loaded gun at a clearly unarmed woman and child.
She did get behind the vehicle and the woman in the van may not have apologized the way you wanted her to but she says I’m sorry but the woman doesn’t want an apology so she is yelling over her. The woman wants a confrontation. Not only did she get behind the van but she also hit their van, which is why they got out.
And look at all that space in the front. Just put the car in drive and drive away.

But she got out because the woman hit the van with her hand. She got out and pointed a gun in the woman’s face because the woman hit her car with her hand. Can you see how her defense of being scared for her life disappears? Think with your brain not your feelings.

to hear some of these chicks tell it, that woman’s next move would have been to clear the 15 feet between herself and the front of the car, smash through a window with her bare hands, rip the woman from her seat and beat her to death 🙄

She's not defending anyone. That's the problem. When someone points out that there was no reason for her to leave her car and go after the woman with a gun, people assume you're ok with what the other woman did. Not true.

People in this country seemed shocked that you can't go around aiming guns in people's faces when you feel the slightest bit threatened.
Isn’t that when you should pull out self protection?
When you are being threatened?
Once safely in the car with her husband, a reasonable person would no longer feel threatened and they certainly wouldn't leave the safety of the car to confront the person who was threatening to beat her up.

There's a case in Connecticut that explains it pretty well. https://ccwsafe.com/news/case-of-the-we ... aggressor-

Read the whole thing, but here's one paragraph:
Self-Defense Fails If Defender Becomes Aggressor

The failure of Sumpter’s claim of self-defense is found in the element of Innocence. How can that be, you might ask, given that it’s uncontested that the three aggressors attacked HIM. Because, as the media itself reports: “After being assaulted inside the coffee shop, Sumpter ran outside and stabbed one of the men.”

That is a problem. In the eyes of the law what we have here is not a single fight in which Sumpter defended himself against the attack of the three aggressors. That fight did happen, but it also ended, when the aggressors left the coffee shop.

When Sumpter then pursued them and stabbed them, he became the aggressor in a second fight. As the aggressor in this second fight he lost the element of innocence, and thus lost self-defense as a justification for his stabbing one of the aggressors.
Similar in that the "defender" got to the safety of her car and was in the process of driving off. The woman and her daughter didn't have a weapon and couldn't get into the car. The defender became the aggressor when she left her car and pointed a gun in the woman's face.

Seriously, what do people think the woman and her daughter were capable of once the man and woman were in their car?

You're making a faulty assumption here.....all of you are. There is no way the woman being threatened could know if the crazed bitch threatening her had a gone or not. Bullets go through cars and car windows with ease. So yea, there was a lot the black woman could have done to the couple even though they got into the car.

If someone came after me in a parking lot threatening me, pounding on my car, threatened my husband (ex), walked behind my car blocking me from pulling out of the parking lot, I would automatically assume she has a gun. Because no one in their right mind would pull that crap unless they had protection of some kind, because you never know what another person will do. The black woman took a big chance confronting the white woman in such a nasty manner. If she did that to someone else, she could have picked the wrong person....and been shot and killed. It's obvious the black woman was itching for a fight.

Personally, if that happened to me, I'd do whatever I had to do to get out of there, including running the bitch over if she didn't get out from behind my car.

Did you even look at the whole video? When the crazed black woman got behind the car, the car was not able to pull forward. It was parked up to the curb/sidewalk right in front of a store. What should they have done, drive through the store window to get away from the insane woman? They only had room to drive forward a little and turn after they backed out of the parking space.

But she got out because the woman hit the van with her hand. She got out and pointed a gun in the woman’s face because the woman hit her car with her hand. Can you see how her defense of being scared for her life disappears? Think with your brain not your feelings.

Nowhere in that video does it show her jumping behind the van. "I'm sorry someone made you feel that way" is not the same as "I'm sorry for bumping you", she never apologizes. Slapping someone's car when they are about to hit you is not a reason to shoot someone in the face in front of their child. You can keep grasping as much as you want, it won't work.
The apology occurred when the bump happened. The video doesn't start at that point.

It's a rather local situation for me. No I wasn't there but our local stations are reporting more of the story. And for the record she shouldn't have gotten out with her gun drawn.
