He changed it to the 20th.

And which A.A. friends would that be, I wonder? The dude is a flaming racist. I'll bet Kelly Anne just reminded him that he's gonna need every vote he can get since he's seriously falling in the polls and he shouldn't alienate the black vote. But that's really too late. He's already sunk that boat when he unleashed the riot police with smoke bombs and tear gas on peaceful protesters just to get a PR shot of himself getting ready to hurl a bible at someone (off camera). *eyeroll*

I think there are plenty of Americans from all ethnic groups that found the combination of the rally date and Tulsa location objectionable. I think it is a good choice to make the change.
President Donald Trump said Friday that he is rescheduling his first campaign rally in months to a day later so it won't conflict with the Juneteenth observance of the end of slavery in the United States.

Trump had scheduled the rally — his first since early March — for June 19 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Black leaders said it was offensive for Trump to pick that day and that place, a city that in 1921 was the site of a fiery and orchestrated white-on-black attack.

Trump tweeted late Friday, “Many of my African American friends and supporters have reached out to suggest that we consider changing the date out of respect for this Holiday."

He said he is moving the rally to June 20 “to honor their requests.”

I think it’s fine that he said he listening to his African American supporters like Lady A changes their name listening to their friends. He did make the right choice to change it.

I thought about you when I read that. Isn’t he asking people to sign waivers not to sue if they get Covid?

It was a publicity stunt to try and make himself look more sympathetic to the plight of poc. It gave him a reason to say “look I do care! Don’t listen to mainstream media I have black friends so I’m not a racist.”
