I know. Our local grocery store had it for 19.99 a pound. Lol.

The public was appalled at price gouging TP, but meat not so much, lol.

stew meat used to be around $8 or $9. . No beef stew ror us, I guess.
Ground beef is 20_23 for 3 lbs.
London broil s 25.00 for 4 lbs

You do realize that the meat processing plants were shut down.
See smart preppers have 350- 400 pounds beef, chicken, pork..etc in several large freezers, dumbasses have to pay crazy prices now😂😂😂
Meat that has been frozen for several months...a year? Sounds so appetizing!

Stew beef cut up is about $5 per pound here. I prefer to buy my own on sale roast or steak and cut it up myself.

That's normal for here, $5.98 a pound. That's almost 3 pounds of stew meat there. I usually wait until chuck roast goes on sale and then cut that up for stew, stir fry or beef stroganoff.

I saw it at Sam's club for $40! The large 10lb roll of hsmburger was $30 but the 1 lb grass fed beef was $4.99.

Thus the reason I go to Sam's. I buy in bulk, portion it and vacuum seal it. I bought just under 4.5 lbs of stew meat a couple of days ago and paid $27..It's cheaper that way.

That's the normal price around here. I don't buy meat unless it's on sale. Typically I use an app called Flash Food to buy discounted meat from the Zehrs in my neighborhood.

Whoa, jealous over here!! there is no stew meat to be found at our wholesale club. I go to Sam’s way too often, lol, there has been no stew meat or really anything besides some steaks & large brisket for the past 7-8 visits!
