LMAO, wasn't "veronica" that catholic chick who hated Trump? nice try though.pinkbutterfly66 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 04, 2020 6:23 pm The social distancing wasn't announced until mid March. Nancy did nothing wrong at that time. Nice try, though Veronica.
It wasn’t a Chinese travel ban, it was travel restrictions. Tens of thousands of people have travelled to the US from China, with no consistent screening done: https://www.nytimes.com/2020/04/04/us/c ... and no, she said his "denial at the beginning was deadly". Trump had already banned travel from China when she did this interview. she knew it was deadly at this point but cared more about "fighting xenophobia" than people's safety. shes a hypocrite. AOC, also encouraged people to go eat out at Chinese restaurants in the middle of an epidemic in order to not be racist.
Trump got intelligence on this deadly virus and it was also given to congress. They are both to blame. But you can't seem to break past that "Trump was sent by Jesus" denial. It defies all common sense and logic. This is a disaster and it starts at the top.water<wine wrote: ↑Sat Apr 04, 2020 6:42 pmLMAO, wasn't "veronica" that catholic chick who hated Trump? nice try though.pinkbutterfly66 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 04, 2020 6:23 pm The social distancing wasn't announced until mid March. Facts are Trump ignored the intelligence reports. So did congress. He's now blaming Obama for "the shelves being bare". 3 1/2 years later! At the same time telling governors they should have been better prepared! Even though he did nothing about these apparent bare shelves for 3.5 years.“He is strong, sharp and powerfully focused on leading the counterattack on the Coronavirus. He feels they are doing very well, even building hospitals in a matter of only days,” the president said on Twitter after speaking by telephone with Xi.
“Nothing is easy, but he will be successful, especially as the weather starts to warm & the virus hopefully becomes weaker, and then gone,” Trump continued.

You can book a flight until your ass falls off. If you can't get a visa issued, or it gets canceled / revoked, your ticket is useless. You don't get to enter the country without a visa. That's how a travel ban works. Not buying a ticket, but visas get cut off.Francee89 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 04, 2020 7:23 pmIt wasn’t a Chinese travel ban, it was travel restrictions. Don’t believe the NYT? Google a round trip flight from Beijing to NY or NY to Beijing for sometime this month. Still bookable.
Nowhere did Pelosi or AOC encourage crowds of people, just that people still shop at Chinese businesses and restaurants. And if Trump knew it was deadly, why did he continue to hold rallies and say that the threat of people closely packed together “doesn’t bother me at all“ when specifically asked about it on March 6?
Yes, but his travel restrictions didn’t, and still don’t, apply to American citizens, green card holder and their non-citizen family members. They have always been, and still are, able to travel back and forth.Valentina327 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 04, 2020 8:13 pmYou can book a flight until your ass falls off. It depends on what you feel a travel ban means? Trump did not shut down flights between China and the US, however multiple airlines did cancel their flights. The only people who were restricted from travel between the two countries were Chinese nationals. Don't forget it was a US national who had travelled to Wuhan who was the first diagnosed in the US. And while Chinese nationals were restricted from traveling directly, there was nothing stopping them from traversing through a second country.Valentina327 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 04, 2020 8:13 pmYou can book a flight until your ass falls off.
