Real easy for them to talk knowing they will get that ventilator before the NYC bus driver does.
Texas Republicans aren’t responsible a bus driver in NYC and weren’t the cause of the spreading either.

This isn’t about NY.
Sigh. Right over your head. There was a republican politician in Texas who said that grandparents should sacrifice themselves for the economy sake. He can say that pretty easy because he, being a well connected politician, will get a ventilator before one of the NYC bus drivers who are currently infected. That's a fact. Nothing to do with who is responsible and everything to do with powerful people having access to what they need while spouting off nonsense.

No, I know what you meant and this is a local story so I know what was said. Doesn’t have much to do with Texas Republican specifically either since that advantage applies to all politicians.

They all have access to the testing so it wouldn't as scary for them. Meanwhile people who are deathly sick are waiting on sidewalks outside of hospitals for hours.
Look, we know you're angry, but the way you're responding is ridiculous and unnecessary. Knock it off.

But I'm still the winner! They lied! They cheated! They stole the election!

the test doesn't have the ability to' discriminate whom the virus will kill -- right now i have young friends who have it, and they're afraid to go to sleep cuz they can't breathe

Every state maintains their own stockpile of supplies. Someone in Texas and someone in NY are not competing for the same equipment. A bus driver in NY can go to the most over-crowded hospital today and there are enough ventilators. Governor Cuomo says there’s 4,000 in stockpile.

You shouldn’t be spreading fear and nonsense.

Wow. Your statements seem to be completely unhinged.

Where are there deathly sick people waiting on sidewalks outside of hospitals?

Where?

So many politicians are saying things to just hear themselves talk about the virus. This guy is ridiculous and has his own opinions.

States are bidding against each other for ventilators. Yes, Texas and NY are competing for the same equipment. There is a shortage.
Illinois governor: States are "competing against each other" for medical supplies

Scramble for medical equipment descends into chaos as U.S. states and hospitals compete for rare supplies . https://www.washingtonpost.com/business ... -supplies/
A mad scramble for masks, gowns and ventilators is pitting states against each other and driving up prices. Some hard-hit parts of the country are receiving fresh supplies of N95 masks, but others are still out of stock. Hospitals are requesting donations of masks and gloves from construction companies, nail salons and tattoo parlors, and considering using ventilators designed for large animals because they cannot find the kind made for people.

Long lines and ventilator shortage plague city hospitals under coronavirus siege

https://nypost.com/2020/03/23/long-line ... rus-siege/
Scores of people standing in line to be tested for the coronavirus Monday were seen violating “social distancing” guidelines as they huddled together in the cold rain outside Elmhurst Hospital in Queens.

As many as 152 people were lined up at one point, with some so close together that their umbrellas overlapped — violating the six-foot rule advised by the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
