This means the Duke and Duchess of Sussex can no longer formally represent the Queen.

Well they wanted to step down. This is one of the things that happens with that decision.

I loved that the queen in her statement said she was proud of Meghan.

Wow! Surprising, but I guess it makes sense. That's a positive gesture that I think will go a long way, their repaying the taxpayers for the Frogmore renovations.

I wonder what this will do to their brand of “Sussex Royal”? I was never clear on whether that was for charity or enriching themselves. Using royal status or titles to earn money is a big huge NO-NO.
It could also be to facilitate their moving to Canada. Royalty and titles supposedly aren’t allowed to live in Canada. They may visit only.

I read where Charles gave them a few million from his own personal account, not the one he uses to pay their expenses every year, for furniture and other things. I wonder if he’s still going to support them.
I saw where their staff has all been reassigned, even the 2 permanent workers who lived there.
