One is a child and one is an adult. You “like” and laugh when people make fun of the current First Lady. People have called her a whore among other things. Children should always be off limits. I don’t care which side of the political drama their parents are on.
What was the insult towards Barron?
She was obviously trying to make fun of his name. Making fun of someone’s name is still frowned upon right?
Not if it's the child of the bad orange man.

Or orange man supportes either. We saw how everyone attacked the smirking kid. Even when it came out that shocker he didn’t do anything and the grown adult got in his face. I’m just tired of the double standards and hypocrisy. I don’t think people should make fun of Greta for her appearance or disability(I think she has one) but she put her ideas and yelled at adults so her ideas are far game.

If she said "the president may refer to his daughter as a princess but can't make her one", would that have been offensive? It's the same concept. She was simply using his name to illustrate a point.

Please. It would be the same if someone said: Obama can name his daughter Malika but he can't make melikeher.

That's a huge stretch. I hope you warmed up first. Considering the context of what she said, how does what you are suggesting even make sense?

No it's not. It's a better comparison than calling a fictional little girl a princess.

Not in the context of discussing presidential power and its limits.

All things aside, it’s a 13 year old child. How can you dismiss Making snide remarks about a 13 year old child?
What snide remarks were made “about” him? She didn’t insult him in any way, shape or form.

How did Melania and Kayleigh dismiss her husband/boss making snide remarks about a 16 year old?
She used an innocent child that has nothing to do with politics. She used him to insult his parents. It was a snide remark and it was crossing the line. If you don’t understand that then it says a lot about you.
So, you’re acknowledging there was no snide remark “about” him, which is what you originally claimed?

She stated a fact, within the context of a discussion on the limits of Presidential power - that he can be named Barron, but the President can’t make him a baron. She apologized for doing so, but in no way, shape or form did she insult him personally.

What did it say about Melania and Kayleigh that they ignored their boss/husband mocking a 16 year old? You seemed to have ignored that question.

Exactly. It was a shot at Trump, not at his kid.
But leave it to Trumpers to twist things around so that it’s another “attack” at poor, innocent, wonderful Donnie and his loved ones.
But hey, he comes up with insulting nicknames for everyone who as much as disagrees with him slightly, but OMG, God forbid he has to take it after he dishes it! That’s not fair!!!

Lol, because the Trump campaign and Trump supporters are really in any position to lecture others on politeness, civility and behaving in a non-insulting manner.
Surprising.

So, if you behave badly, it's totally cool for me to make fun of your kid. LOL noted.
Nope, didn’t say that, just saying it’s rich that people totally cool with a man who regularly behaves in an outright insulting, impolite and uncivil manner are pretending to clutch their pearls because someone used the President’s kid’s name as a homophone. And how was it “making fun of his kid”? If I knew someone terrible at gardening and said “you can name your daughter Rose but that doesn’t make you a florist”, that’s not making fun of their kid.

Say, did Kaleigh or Melania have anything to say about their Bastion of Politeness Candidate/Husband tweet-mocking a teenager? LOL nope.
