I need that recipe 😃
It's just roast beef. We call it roast beast.
LMAO, I thought it was just a typo
LOL. After watching one too many grinch specials over the years, we adopted the name.
The oranges of the island are like blazing fire
Amongst the emerald boughs
And the lemons are like the paleness of a lover
Who has spent the night crying.

My soul was ripped to shreds on 10/27/14

My parents are making sriracha deviled eggs, kabocha korokke, persimmons in tofu sauce, and spinach gomaai. My grandfather is making a sushi platter . My grandmother is making eggplant oyaki. My cousin's family is bringing the dessert, chocolate hazelnut crepes. My grandparents are also making cookies with my kids to go bring to police and fire stations after dinner.
I dont know what most of those dishes are but have a great TG.

Anonymous 1 wrote: Sun Nov 10, 2019 11:05 am I haven't finalized the menu, Im not even close. Im still in the looking and testing phase.

So far I've decided on cranberry brie tart bites and bacon wrapped pimento cheese jalapeno poppers for appetizers.

What are you cooking?
Thats easy and simple to do and less stressful for you, this year anyway:)

Other than a couple of desserts, I do it all. I've been doing it for about 15 years now & have it down to a science. Helps that I have 2 kitchens in my house. Also cuts out a lot of hassle & oven rotation issues to deep fry the turkeys. All the desserts will be made & everything else assembled & ready to go into the oven Thanksgiving morning. I'll start prep work the Monday before Thanksgiving & be busy as shit until dinner hits the table. Then I open a bottle of wine & relax. By the time the food hits the table I'm so over it all. lol

Arent you going on a fabulous cruise?
I am, but I will be home before Thanksgiving.
If you get back a few days before TG, then just order a meal.
Have a great time on the cruise and be
BAD......very very bad 💋
This will be the first TG that I have my kids in 5 years. I might order the sides and make Cornish hens & 7-up cake (special requests)

I don’t think I’ll have the chance to be bad LOL I’m cruising with my Mom but we’ll have fun
Honey, I'm the original one-eyed chicklet in the kingdom of the blind, 'cause at least I admit the world makes me nuts.

Really, that does sound good. I googled and couldnt find anything close to what you described other than pumpkin cheesecake but nothing baked in an actual pumpkin.
But my googling skills arent stellar. Can you share the link?

You have a summer kitchen also, thats so cool. I havent met anyone irl that had a second kitchen in their house. Thats what the realtor called the kitchen in the basement when we bought the house.
I thought I cooked too much food for TG and Christmas but You have me beat. It helps to have 2 stoves and a wall oven, 3 fridges and 2 large freezers.
