I met a guy recently. Around my age, handsome enough, a little short for my taste but its not a deal breaker. He has a son around my oldest sons age and seems to have the same priorities i do.
Now here comes the red flag.
He said he's trying to stay sober.
As an alcoholics ex-wife i tend to shy away from addicts of any type.


Would you give him a chance still?

I agree. I moved on from him.
Too bad, he seemed like a good match otherwise. But whatever his addiction was is a no fly zone for me.
Especially if it was alcohol. I would never be able to drink with him. And i do enjoy it sometimes.
