At least get her income imputed at 40 hours per week for the calculation. Run the numbers in an online calculator for your state.

Well of course she doesnt. Thanks, oh wise one, for the PSA that she's not the judge. But her dh can try.

Its not even set by the judge. Child Support is determined by state law

His ruling will be based on state law. Those laws vary state by state. Some states you have to pay until the end of college, some states SMs income is included and in others it's a flat percent of your income.

And in almost all cases the judge still has some bit of discretion on how those laws are applied. Especially for something like this.

You seem to have some weird issue here.

In some areas that's plenty. I know in mine you are considered upper middle class
Where do you live?

So? I guess it depends on where you live, but we raised all 3 of our kids on less than that, and they may not have gotten every single thing they ever wanted, but they had everything they needed, and a great deal of what they wanted. They certainly didn't suffer.

That's not even at the poverty line in California. Even with her income it would only be lower middle class.
Every place isn't as expensive as California or where I live NY.
I've lived in several states and that's not nearly what I would find comfortable or "safe."
