Well... he is the POTUS.
So yeah, unfortunately and very dangerously he is the most powerful man in the world. And that’s not a compliment, BTW. It’s not a testament to his worthiness. He simply gained power by sweet talking the gullible, that doesn’t mean he’s worthy of it. No one would be this concerned about him if he wasn’t. He’s an unpredictable, ignorant, pathological narcissist with a nuclear arsenal.
It’s terrifying.

The POTUS is typically a very powerful person, as they can easily influence worldwide events. Power doesn't equal brains, however.

Because he’s the commander in chief of the most powerful military in the world and in a position that has often times been referred to as leader of the free world.
