People were getting tens of thousands of points from the bump post and it was really negating the reason for the extension which is to reward the people who post a lot in here. We also have more ways to earn points now (winning in the arcade, winning the lottery, and earning bonus points) there really isn’t a reason for anyone to have hundreds of thousands of points that were earned just by typing bump over and over again.

I was fine with the post when people were using it to earn a few points but clicking the submit button repeatedly to manipulate issues with double posting on the site can have consequences. Our server load increased a lot, especially when more than one did it at a time which could cause our server to become unresponsive. You could also end up flagged by our anti spam/malware software if they mistake you for a spam bot which would end up blocking you from the site.

Let’s just enjoy the games and earn points by posting normally instead of trying to out do one another. Save the competition for the arcade tournament or challenge each other to a game

I’ll also be adding more games today including a bubble blaster type game. I can only add 5 games a day so look out for more in the next week.

Yep, you have a 20% chance to get between 10-50 bonus points when you make a post.
