Probate in my case took almost a year.
Your Grandma hasn't been gone that long. Based on all your family discord, I'm pretty sure it is being contested.
It may be a very long time before you see any of that money, if you get it at all.

Also, any debts that Grandma had have to be paid from whatever's left of her estate before anything can be distributed. That can take a while, and sometimes there's nothing left.
