I am going camping for the first time as an adult and I feel like I have no idea what to bring besides my tent, clothes, and a sleeping bag
What do you usually bring when you are camping?

Keys to a hotel with AC and good WIFI. I did enough camping as a kid, and way too much time working at a campsite.
All joking aside: I would recommend a first-aid kit (with burn cream) and a few jugs of water. That sounds common-sense, but every year we had tourists who got injured or lost, and they brought everything with them...except a first-aid kit and water. Most of the time, they thought someone else was “in charge” of that, so they didn’t bring it, and neither did anyone else. Be the one who did.

Rather than provoke thought, I prefer to poke it with a stick.🎗

Toilet paper? Soap? Hand sanitizer?
I couldn't imagine camping. Not my thing.
Have fun!

Camping as a kid was my parents renting either a cabin in the mountains or house on the beach. Camping as an adult is either a cabin or the RV if I’m willing to do my definition of roughing it. Dh does the outdoor, sleep under the stars on the ground or in a tent when he takes the kids camping to give me a weekend to myself. I couldn’t tell you what all he takes beyond a tent, sleeping bag, shovel, grate for cooking over the fire, water, food, bug spray and sunscreen. I know he takes more just not sure what.

I don't camp, lol. You couldn't pay me enough to go camping. Bump for you, I know some people on here are avid campers.

We have friends that are avid campers. They have bins dedicated solely to camping that hold all the lighting that they take, tents, sleeping bags, air mattresses/ pumps, bathroom supplies, charcoal, lanterns, etc..you name it, they probably have it in a camping bin.
Don't forget a first aid kid, FOOD, WATER, sunscreen..
Personally, I hate camping so I avoid it at all costs.
