It was the best thing I ever did.

I had been unhappy for awhile and one night while I was sleeping it all just "clicked". I was wasting my time in a loveless marriage with a guy that isnt even that great. I had the urge to move out and start my life on my own. So I did just that

My stbexhusband didnt understand at first. He thought we were happy which was BS. We didnt spend time together, we avoided each other, we barely knew each other any more.

I could have worked on my marriage but I just didnt think it was worth it. Even at his best and at our best things werent great.

It hasnt been easy to start over with "nothing". I left everything at the house except some of my family keep sakes, clothes, and some of my stuff from my younger days. I still think its worth it. A couple of the kids moved with me and a couple stayed with their dad. They dont really understand it either but I am sure they will when they are older. They all can see that I am much happier.

Cool. I left too, but it was planned. I also left with almost nothing. Best decision I ever made.

Life it so short to be unhappy. I think everyone should do what they need to live the happiest life they can. I know it is cliche, but you only get this one life why be miserable and unhappy ? Good for you
