I volunteered for several years driving women from rural Appalachia to the closest abortion provider (2 1/2 - 4 hours away). I look back at that time as one of the most rewarding.
How was it rewarding? Do you know how many of them were having an abortion for medical reasons either with the mother or baby? Not being snarky, I'm really curious, because I've known several women who have had an abortion and none of them have been because of medical problems .
Why would whether they had medical problems or not be relevant to it being rewarding?

Because I was helping and connecting with women during a very stressful and emotional time and providing at least some level of comfort. I never asked anyone why they were having an abortion because it was none of my business.

For me personally,,, it would not be unless I thought it was to protect the mothers life or if the baby had a terminal disorder that would make him or her unable to survive. To me its the ending of a life. I was just curious of her opinion on what she found rewarding about it.

Protecting a fellow human being from those who don't act so human should be rewarding.

You think they might be able to find a replacement that likes blood and gore and murder ?

Is blood and gore absent from all other surgeon's lives?

No, but those surgeons are trying to save a life rather than taking a life.

I might have misunderstood her story.
She was providing protection from the abortionist?

Well... that depends.

When the doctors that performed an abortion that lead to the ability to harvest fetal embryo fibroblast cells and then turned around and grew viruses in them that became carriers for modern day vaccines...were they wrong for ending lives through abortion, or were the abortions they performed ok since they went on to save lives through their actions?

It's wrong to kill a life to harvest anything to give to another.
