There's a fair number of things that are simply out of our control. Shit happens. Stuff blows up (sometimes literally). We grin and bear it and are usually empathizing with the user (what effects them typically effects us twice as hard, speaking from an internal IT group perspective). That said, if there are chronic issues, that's typically indicative of either incompetent vendors/suppliers or incompetent IT staff. Stuff should work more than it doesn't; if that's not the case then you typically can't blame the technology, that's a people problem.
