Is this enough time in advance?
My cousin was throwing one of those parties to sell things...this was one of those weight loss shake things. She invited people on FB 2 days in advance. I was not able to go. But later she vented to me that no one showed up. I was thinking she should have let people know sooner. What do you think?

Eh, for me it would have been plenty of notice.
I think she now knows that either 2 days notice was not enough or that absolutely no one is interested in her weight loss shakes.

I think 2 days for something like that is plenty of time, but I wouldn't have gone to it even with a month's notice. I don't go to "parties" to be sold crap for the next big pyramid scheme. Enough people are selling that shit if I'm interested I'll reach out to you.

This. I hate those damn parties. Plus if you invite me to a weight loss one I am going to be a little offended to begin with. I can see that conversation now:
Host - I would like to invite you to my party for weight loss shakes
Me - Are you a saying I am fat and need to lose weight
Host - No I am not saying anything like that, you look great
Me - Well then good, I guess I will not be coming because I look great and do not need them.
