I can’t believe the teacher said she didn’t know the first amendment. Not surprising though, people seem to think that not being offended is part of it.

It seems that way. She apologized and sent candy. Seems like it might have been sincere based on her lack of knowledge. That comment section though... Wow. People calling for her resignation and pension taken away....seems a bit extreme.
