Yes and it's been saving money for us for 3 months now.
Tonight we're doing tacos.
Tomorrow, Korean BBQ steaks.
Tuesday, Chicken fried steak
Wednesday, Hawaiian chicken with rice.
Thursday, Chicken bacon ranch cassarole
Friday, Shredded chicken tacos.

I do, and I have every intention of following it, but inevitably my DH changes something last minute. It's really more of an exercise in futility.

I actually started meal planning about six months ago because we have too many damn kids and we were spending thousands of dollars each month on groceries (which would sometimes go bad) and eating out.
This week is a little different because we're going camping.
I also stopped doing a daily meal plan. Instead, I make a list of several meals, then we pick which meal we want each day, based on what is going bad, what is defrosted, etc.
This week, we're having:
Breakfast- cereal, arepas, oatmeal, continental breakfast, breakfast sandwiches, breakfast tacos, more cereal.
Lunches- tuna salad sandwiches with chips, sausages/hot dogs with fruit and veggie tray, Snacks/Leftovers, arepas, out to eat, grilled chicken strawberry salad.
Dinners- Crab macaroni and cheese, sandwiches, grilled chicken with veg, dinner at friend's houses (going out of town).
