BLT on sourdough bread that's been grilled, YUMMO
We just toasted the sourdough, firing up the grill seems excessive for a few slices of bread. But the bread, lettuce and tomatoes are all fresh from the farmers market this morning if that gives me brownie points.

It definitely does. I grilled today so that's why I said to grill the bread.

What kind of salad?
Just spinach, cucumbers, tomatoes, cheese & French dressing. Nothing fancy. Dinner for 1
Yum , throw some blackberries and feta cheese in that salad
No fruit in a salad. Yuck. And no feta. More yuck 🤢

Lol

I made egg salad sandwiches and french fries. The egg salad turned out well, but I suck at peeling hard boiled eggs. It was a PITA to make.

I’ve tried feta I don’t like the texture. My mom makes this salad with fruit and it’s not my favorite

I can only eat egg salad if it has lots of chopped ham in it, lol
If you put a splash of vinegar in the water when boiling the eggs, it helps the shells come off easier

Shells always slide right off of my eggs, usually in just 2 solid pieces.

Fill a pot 2/3 full with room temperature water. Add eggs, turn on burner, and bring to a rolling boil. Boil for 16 minutes. Immediately pour off hot water and rinse eggs with cold water (still in the pot) by pouring off the water and refilling with cold water 3 or 4 times. Then let them set in the pot, in the sink, for about 5 minutes in the cold water after the last rinse. The shells will slide right off! No broken pieces.
