Trump: Warren Should Apologize To US For Native American Claims

President Donald Trump said Sen. Elizabeth Warren should apologize to the country for claiming Native American heritage, in a Monday appearance while touring areas effected by Hurricane Michael.
Trump was asked whether he owes Warren an apology after she released results of a DNA test showing she is somewhere between 1/64 to 1/1024 Native American.
“She owes the country an apology. What is the percentage? 1/1000th,” he asked back.
When questioned about whether he would continue his pledge to donate 1 million dollars to charity if she could prove her ancestry, Trump replied “I will only do it if I can test her personally. That will not be something that I enjoy doing.”
Trump previously dismissed Warren’s test results saying “who cares.”

If she has DNA that shows she’s got American Indian/native American genetic background that’s the answer.
She doesn’t have to be a “ member of a tribe”!

"A DNA test is useless to determine tribal citizenship. Current DNA tests do not even distinguish whether a person's ancestors were indigenous to North or South America. Sovereign tribal nations set their own legal requirements for citizenship, and while DNA tests can be used to determine lineage, such as paternity to an individual, it is not evidence for tribal affiliation. Using a DNA test to lay claim to any connection to the Cherokee Nation or any tribal nation, even vaguely, is inappropriate and wrong. It makes a mockery out of DNA tests and its legitimate uses while also dishonoring legitimate tribal governments and their citizens, who ancestors are well documented and whose heritage is prove. Senator Warren is undermining tribal interests with her continued claims of tribal heritage."

Exactly. She doesn’t have to be a member of a tribe. She has an American Indian genetic background.
I had a “23and me “ test done too and I’m of Scotch, Irish , Welsh, English, Swedish, Norwegian and Danish genetic background. I don’t belong to the Scottish Rite, I’m not a member of England’s Royal Family , etc. etc etc
It’s all in the genes!
