And give them a week, especially the youngest and they'll move on. I can understand they could have been worried about you but unless it was serious they should be fine. It sounds like your dh feels you think he couldn't meet their emotional needs. And unless he is a total bozo he should have been able to adequately care for them. Probably best to get the kids back into a normal schedule and calmly carry on.
DH doesn't get that OUR kids had a harder time!

Stop being so dramatic. My kids had to stay with my mom for a week when I had surgery. They got to visit for a few minutes here and there.... I went home, they came home and they were fine...Just like yours are fine.
