Streets painted like this is idiotic. Memorials to represent us demolishing slavery and starting civil rights is good. Memorializing a terrorist organization is idiotic

You seriously believe BLM is not a terrorist organization?

Not going to lie, that neon yellow is such an eyesore. renaming Street signs looks a lot classier if you insist on forcing your beliefs down other people's throats. I think its weird that democrats are normalizing spending tax payer dollars on political ads.

Imagine the outcry if republicans did this with a pro life/anti abortion message on a public street.

Question, has Trump ever said black lives don't matter? Or are democrats making BLM a partisan issue? you all claimed the rioters, looters and antifa didn't represent the movement (I beg to differ) but that's what you said, those are the only people Trump has condemned.

You know there's some excuse or dismissing or naysaying whenever that's mentioned. Imma just sit back and wait for the responses. LOL

Are you really that dense or just playing dumb?

I am sure to some BLM brings back memories of that slogan. Right now BLM has stayed they want to defund the police. I dare say if they could get away with it they would completely do away with police altogether. That could be construed as hateful to some.
So the Black Lives Matter name will trigger some people into reliving painful memories of a protest. Especially our very delicate policemen. Ok.
Well... to be fair, we now also have the images of police being set on fire, shot and bleeding out in the street, and spit on more times to count.

It’s far to dismissive of human suffering to say that one group of victims should be celebrated and one should be condemned.
Where did you get your information that countless police were set on fire and shot at bleeding in the streets? Because most of the social media reports on police killed during protests are false.

Here is some information about the deaths of the five officers pictured in the above-displayed graphic:

Trooper George Baker died from injuries “injuries sustained on May 20, 2020, when he was struck by a Hammond patrol car while removing stop sticks from the roadway during a vehicle pursuit.”
Officer Cody Holte was shot and killed during an attempt to serve eviction papers.
Officer Nate Lyday (not Lyway) was shot and killed while responding to a domestic disturbance call.
Officer Michael Mosher was shot and killed while attempting to arrest a hit-and-run suspect.
David Dorn was a retired police officer who was attempting to protect a pawn shop from being looted in the chaotic aftermath of a protest in St. Louis when he was shot and killed.
The Officer Down Memorial Page, a nonprofit dedicated to honoring local active duty law enforcement officers, lists nine law enforcement officers who have died nationwide since protests began. According to the website and news reports, none were related to the Floyd protests.

One officer was shot and killed while delivering an eviction notice. Two were killed while responding to separate domestic disturbance incidents. Two died after contracting COVID-19. One was accidentally shot by another law enforcement officer while responding to a suspicious person call. One was shot and killed while responding to a call for service at a hotel. One died following a vehicle collision. One died while responding to a call about a suspicious vehicle.
https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2 ... tion-prot/

The were two police deaths confirmed. One David Dorn, a 77 year old retired cop who tried to stop a looter. It's doubtful the looter was part of the Black Lives Movement. The other in Las Vegas who was trying to disperse a large crowd at a casino.

Yes, there's been some horrible violence during this protest. There always is during civil strife. The civil rights movement saw dozens of murders by people not wanting change. The Paris protests in 2018 over income inequality and a fuel tax was violent and people died. They did get some tax cuts and the fuel tax went away.

It would have been nice if the first dozen videos we saw of police killing unarmed men had brought about change. But it didn't and so here we are.

It simply says black lives matter. How is that forcing someone's beliefs down their throat. Who doesn't agree that they matter? And the paint is temporary. It won't be there forever.
