Ours closed several years ago. Pretty glad, honestly. My store would be the next stop for all those kids and their parents (candy store).

My son went this morning with a family friend. People had been there since 6am and the mall did not open until 10am. They got there at 8:25 and as of 10:30 were still waiting in line but were almost in. It was well worth it and they made the news too, extra bonus.

Apparently it was crazy and they’ve already closed the lines.

I just got an email from build a bear saying that they had to shut the lines down lol.

Yeah, and people that made it in the lines are being told six and seven hour wait times.

You pay the age of your child for a bear. So if you have a 1-year-old then whatever bear they want is $1.

Interesting idea. I'd be paying almost $30 for three bears. Then add in the hour drive.......Looks like I'm going to skip it.

f**k no. They shut down most of them because the lines were causing fire hazards or blocking other stores etc. And our local one ran out of bears I heard.

I'd rather pay double than deal with a crowd, lol. I'm a crybaby and won't even go to a theme park or whatever without a fast-pass of some sort.

Nope. Never, ever have. It was highway robbery when they first came out. I think by the time you were finished with the bear and outfit, it was like $50, 20 years ago. No effin way was I paying that much for a stupid bear. Besides, my kid much preferred stuffed cats to bears anyway.

I am known for spoiling my kids but on this one thing I did not. I only took them there ONE time to make a bear and lucky me it was a birthday party. So the host paid for the bear and an outfit for the bear. After that we just came in and bought some outfits but we never did have to pay for a bear.
