Regular beans (pinto and bagged; not canned) and cornbread.
The glazing will make the beans taste amazing as will the ham bone itself.
Make a side salad and/or set out some peppercinis to offset the sweetness of the cornbread and beans.
Perfect Sunday supper!
What to do With Ham Bone?
At this point, I would just use it for flavor. Either make a broth or cook it in another dish which doesn't require meat- I'd suggest a baked bean.

It shouldn’t. I make a pretty sweet ham but the bone doesn’t retain enough sugar to ruin a lot of savory dishes that can handle a pinch of sugar (depending on how you cook it).Anonymous 1 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 26, 2022 7:46 amI love everything you've listed but am worried that because I glazed the ham with a bourbon and brown sugar glaze, the bone will have some of that sweetness and make normal use weird?
I actually use a little sugar in my collards to cut the bitterness and you can hardly taste it so the bone should be fine depending on how you cook it.
Good luck!
