It’s actually pretty ambitious. Unfortunately to be able to substantially pay down our deficit 2 things have to happen. Taxes would need to substantially increase across the board, including with those it would hurt the most, low income households and 2 budget surplus. You have to remember nothing went to pay it down during Trump’s 4 years and last year was 1 of 5 times in 50 years that we had a budget surplus.

It does continually astound me how certain members of the population just act like they don't see any of that.
