When you live in such a small town you can't cut all contact.

I'll won't tell them exactly where I live. I do hope that one day I can repair some damage. My sister moved a few years ago and she has a much better relationship with my mom now.

You simply turn around and leave without saying anything. Not hard at all. Pain in the ass? Yeah, but that's what is involved with cutting toxic people out of your life. Start shopping in the next town over.
