Indulge on special occasions. One unhealthy meal every now and then isn't going to hurt.

It is DH’s birthday, and I am trying to decide if I want to make his favorite “chicken fried steak” with buttery mashed potatoes or feed him healthier, I mean he’s not 21 anymore, lol!
He said he did not care...
This is my ridiculous first world dilemma of the day,

The birthday peasant gets to choose their meal
The oranges of the island are like blazing fire
Amongst the emerald boughs
And the lemons are like the paleness of a lover
Who has spent the night crying.
My soul was ripped to shreds on 10/27/14

It’s one day a year. Cook what the person wants.

I like to eat and live healthy. But every now and then, when I'm deciding to indulge or not indulge in one of life's simple pleasures, I look at it this way:
I could be dead tomorrow.
I'm eating the cake!
I could be dead tomorrow.
I'm eating the cake!
One day of unhealthy eating isn't going to ruin a person's health. I say go for it and let him enjoy stuff.

I make whatever their favorite is and I always have a healthy option available.
