Humans are not meant to be vegan.

No we weren't but vegans are usually vegan because they have a moral objection to killing or using another living creature to sustain their own lives. Most people who become vegan simply because they think it's healthier don't remain vegan for long. Fortunately, we live in a time when a vegan can supplement their diet with pills that give them B12, iron and fatty acids if their diet doesn't give them enough.

Chimps are better than bonobos at tasks involving physics, such as tool usage, but bonobos beat them on reasoning tasks involving social skills and theory of mind.

Have you ever read about feral humans, who grew up in the wild from birth - no human language, culture, or taught skills? We have more capable vocal chords and hands, but our base capabilities are not that much better than some animals. There are even some species of bird in Australiathat use fire as a tool.

On average we are.
But not all humans are more intelligent than all chimps.
The difference isn't as big as many people suppose.
Next time you have an online debate with a chimp give me a shout. Until then, it is exactly what people suppose.
Btw- chimps have an IQ of around 20-25, nowhere near 80.
Aletheia indicated bright chimps and she's right. Some chimps have an IQ of 80 to even 90 (average of a human is 100). Chimps can no more debate humans online than humans can debate chimps in the wild. Is that an IQ difference or a language difference?Anonymous 1 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2024 8:17 pmNext time you have an online debate with a chimp give me a shout. She’s not right, 90 is considered basically normal human intelligence.Anonymous 4 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2024 8:34 pmAletheia indicated bright chimps and she's right. Let’s try to find any chimp that has ever existed, even with the most training possible that was classified to have normal human intelligence.
Aaaaaannnnnd go.

There is no standard to measure the IQ of an animal as compared to a human. Researchers have developed tests but we cannot directly compare the two.Anonymous 1 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2024 8:44 pmShe’s not right, 90 is considered basically normal human intelligence.Anonymous 4 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2024 8:34 pmAletheia indicated bright chimps and she's right. That being said I do not hold much merit in IQ scores anyway.
So the assertion that “bright” chimps have an IQ of 80-90 is bullshit?!?!? I’m shocked.highlandmum wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2024 9:03 pmThere is no standard to measure the IQ of an animal as compared to a human. Chimps are tested for IQ by how they do with problem solving, use of tools, memory, and how they interact with the environment. It's not a written test To be tested for IQ, humans need to generally be verbal. Realizing that not all humans are verbal and not all non-verbal humans have low IQ, there are tests specifically designed for non-verbal humans just like there are tests specifically designed for chimps.Anonymous 1 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2024 8:44 pmShe’s not right, 90 is considered basically normal human intelligence.Anonymous 4 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2024 8:34 pmAletheia indicated bright chimps and she's right. I don't think chimps are able to answer an IQ test question like the following:
Which number logically follows this series?
1. 7 9 5 11 4 15 12 7 13 8 11 ?
1)8 2)10 3)11 4)13
But they could demonstrate a high ability to sequence in other ways.
