What do you think of a woman proposing to a man?

So Thanksgiving came and went and I spent time with a lot family that I don't see often. This was the first time that most of them met my fiance, due to COVID and not really getting together in the last 2-3 years.

I recently became engaged and so it was a topic of discussion at Thanksgiving of course.

I was the one who proposed to my fiance, I bought rings made the whole plan and surprised him (We had discussed marriage, quite often and engagement, but he never expected me to do it). Hell I never expected me to do it, but something kept telling me to do it, so I did!

Regardless when family heard that I proposed I had mixed reactions from, "Good for you" to "Why? That's the mans Job!" and everything in between.

I just brushed the family that had a problem with it off, as I figured they were older and stuck in their ways.. Other than family I haven't had anyone say anything negative to me.

So I wanted to get an unbiased opinions from other woman. What do you think of a woman proposing to a man?

Women have knees and mouths just as good (if not better) that any man.

Nope. All wrong and it shifts the balance of things.

There's nothing wrong with it in my book. It's between you and your fiance only as to who proposed.

Congrats!
I come here to give my opinion; not try to validate it. I come to converse and not to debate.

It’s not something I think I would ever do, but I see nothing wrong with other women doing it.

Congratulations, btw.

I wouldn’t do it but I don’t have a problem with women who do and I would never say anything rude to them about it.

Congratulations!!
