That’s the stupidest thing.

I suppose they’ll be banning letterman and varsity jackets too? It’s only fair.

Either way, I predict a lot of students rebelling against this once the school year starts back up.

I think schools should have uniforms anyway.

As long as they don’t look like those ridiculous uncomfortable British school uniforms.

Hey now, lol. My kids went to British International Schools on and off and had uniforms. I loved them and so did they!

You look at them, little mini adults, and they have so much on! Little ties, vests, button down shirts, sweaters, blazers, mini adult shoes. Must take a little more time to get ready in the morning.

They can wear pants if they want, but everyone is still required to wear the tie as far as I remember

I'm so damned glad my kid is out of school now. If she were still in school with a new code like this, I'd drop her off in her usual attire and when the school called to bring a change of clothes, I'd show up only to escort her back to class and tell her to ignore any demands to go to the office or detention.

The whole "kids need to learn how to be professional" spiel is pure grade A bullshit. They're kids. They don't need to learn that shit. Let them wear Naruto t shirts and jeans. I hope kids and parents buck this dress code in protest by wearing all the banned shit.

I'm waiting for them to say girls wear pink frocks and boys wear blue suits and then get separated into separate schooling based off gender (boys learn to read, write, etc, while girls learn how to cross stitch and garden)

It was easy and my kids liked the clothes. Order in the fall and be set for entire school year. Took no time getting ready in the morning because there was never the question of "what do I wear?".

This was (still is) the standard uniform:
Standard uniform:
Collared embroidered white shirt/blouse

School tie

Choice of embroidered navy blazer, navy V-neck sweater or navy cardigan

Grey trousers or skirt

Black socks

Black tights or stockings

Black shoes

During warm weather:
White short-sleeved collared embroidered shirt/blouse

White embroidered short-sleeved polo shirt

Grey shorts/skirt

Black socks
