Tiny Rhode Island had their tiny protest in Providence about overturning Roe v Wade.
Democratic State Senator Jennifer Rourke ended up in the middle of a scuffle and Providence cop Jeann Lugo punched her in the face. Besides being part of the police force Lugo was also a Republican candidate for Rourke’s state senate seat. Lugo has been with police for three years.

Supposedly he dropped out of the Senate race. As he should.
I hope he is held accountable and is ineligible to run for office in the future.
