So do we. It’s not as bad in Europe because they have excellent public transportation and usually drive mini cars,

No but they kept them updated. Building new isn't really needed. Why are they choosing not to update now?

Refineries need continuous reinvestment. So yes, they have.
Nobody in their right mind would put that type of investment into it in this political environment.

They could have been investing in new capital expenditures under Republican administrations. Why didn't they? What good does more oil from Canada through the Keystone pipeline do without the refiners to utilize it?
