My 8 (almost 9) year old and 7 year old are both in boosters. To each his own.

Right. You want people to challenge you where this is legal. I’ll save them the trouble. Where are you from so we can ‘look it up’
Nice try. I'm not debating this have a nice day.
So you will not answer where you are from? Lame troll!
No because there is no point. If I say where I'm from I'm a troll. If I don't I'm a troll. You are convinced I'm just trying to debate laws but that isn't the case. I know the law and don't need others to tell me about it.

If he has the legal height, he’s not doing anything wrong. I don’t remember how old my kids were when they started riding in the front seat. They were older than that, though, but the law here seems to be more strict. It’s 12 years old or 1.50 mts high, which is about 4’9”.

I find it more trollish that a 7 year old is 4’10”...even with tall parents, that sounds wrong.
And since a simple search shows that most states give a height of 4’9” to ride in the front seat, well you can see why she would claim her 7 year is 4’10” if she’s trolling.

This is not a debate post. I stated what was legal in my situation and if someone wants to debate me on it I just won't.

I can see how people would see that as trollish. My son is very very tall for his age. The law is 145 cm. My son is just over that. I used to think there was a weight requirement also but that is not true. I just am uncomfortable with the whole situation.

There’s very tall and then there’s abnormal. The average height if a 7 year old is 3’8 to 4’1.
But then if your son is indeed 4’10, he can ride in the front.

Legally he can. That doesn't mean it is safest for him or he's mature enough to do so.

While I can't see a 7 year old in a front seat legally.. I can attest to the 4'10" height of 7 year olds. My 14 year old's BFF was that tall at 7. She is 5 days younger than my girl and is 5'10" at 14...She has always towered over my kiddo and has towered over my 5'1" body since she was 9. My niece is now almost 18 ( September) and when she was that age, she was tall too. I don't know what is in the water here, but there are a ton of kids at Church that are as tall as me or taller and they are between 7-10 years old. My BFF's youngest will be 10 this weekend and she is 5'1" already ( her sister is the one that is 5'10" at 14 yo).
