I always feel bad when I take my dog to the vet and she gets poked for her booster shots.
So I take her to the pet store afterwards and let her pick out a treat lol.
Yesterday she had very expensive taste and picked out a $20 bone!
I let her pick out a treat after she gets groomed as well because she's such a girl good for the groomer.
Do you do this for your dog too?

No. But I also don’t go let my kids pick out a treat after their doctor or hair appointments.

No, but my dog gets a monthly bark box. He loves it!

I've always done that with my dogs. We usually use Banfield vet hospital, which is commonly found in Petsmart. We'd have the appointment, then peruse the aisles for a toy so they associate the building they're in with 'oh, I get treats and toys here!'. It makes life easier.
